Uthhan International Shipping Charges – Terms & Conditions

Uthhan is catering to more than 100K plus artisans across India and all your purchase amounts will go directly to the respective artisan families. Born in April 2012, Uthhan is a joint initiative between different artisan community organizations and GERG (Golden Era Royal Group) for the upliftment of financially weaker segments of skilled artisans across India. Uthhan is the first initiative in India where the profit from sales goes directly to the respective skilled workers.
At Uthhan Global, we aim to make authentic Indian handicrafts accessible to customers worldwide at affordable prices. To keep product prices reasonable, international shipping charges are calculated separately and collected after the order is placed.
Please read these terms carefully before placing your order.
1. Product Prices and Shipping Charges
The product prices displayed on Uthhan Global do not include international shipping charges unless expressly stated otherwise.
International shipping charges are calculated separately based on the destination country, shipment weight, package dimensions, number of products ordered and applicable courier rates.
As shipping costs vary depending on these factors, the final shipping amount may not be available at checkout.
2. Prepaid Product Orders
All product orders on Uthhan Global are prepaid. Customers must pay the full product amount at the time of placing their order through the payment methods available on the website.
No postpaid or cash-on-delivery facility is available for product purchases.
International shipping charges are not included in the initial product payment and must be paid separately after the order is placed and before dispatch.
3. Calculation and Confirmation of Shipping Charges
After receiving the order, our team will calculate the actual international shipping cost based on the shipment details and applicable courier rates.
The shipping amount will be communicated to the customer through their registered email address, WhatsApp number or another available communication channel.
The quotation will reflect the applicable shipping cost for the customer's destination and order.
4. Separate Shipping Payment
Once the shipping amount is confirmed, the customer must pay the quoted amount separately using the payment method or payment link provided by Uthhan Global.
The order will be dispatched only after the full shipping payment has been received.
Until the shipping payment is completed, the order will remain pending dispatch.
5. If the Customer Does Not Wish to Proceed
If the customer does not wish to proceed with the order after receiving the shipping quotation, they must contact Uthhan Global before paying the shipping charges.
The order cancellation and refund of the prepaid product amount, if applicable, will be handled according to our Cancellation and Refund Policy and applicable law.
Any applicable deductions, non-refundable charges or refund conditions will be communicated transparently in accordance with that policy and applicable law.
6. Shipping Payment Deadline
Customers are requested to complete the shipping payment within the period specified in the shipping quotation.
If payment is not received within the specified period, dispatch may be delayed. Uthhan Global may contact the customer to confirm whether they wish to proceed.
If the customer does not respond or complete payment, the order may be cancelled in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
7. Dispatch, Delivery and Tracking
The estimated delivery timeline depends on the destination country, courier service, customs clearance and other logistical factors.
The delivery timeline generally begins after the shipping payment has been received and the order has been dispatched.
Tracking details will be shared after dispatch wherever tracking is available.
8. Customs Duties and Import Taxes
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are separate from the shipping charges collected by Uthhan Global and are payable by the customer or recipient, as applicable.
Customers are responsible for checking the import regulations and restrictions applicable to their country.
9. Changes to Shipping Charges
The shipping quotation will be based on the shipment details and applicable courier rates available when the cost is calculated.
If a material change to the quoted amount becomes necessary before dispatch, Uthhan Global will inform the customer and obtain their approval before collecting any additional amount.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, contact number and any other information required for international shipping.
Incorrect or incomplete details may result in delays, failed delivery or additional courier charges. Any applicable additional charges will be communicated to the customer.
